Sighting Details

What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

First appeared above the clouds to my right, and consisted of a very larger circle of lights. Each one was rotatingin a clockwise direction. As it was above the cloud layer, I could not make out any other details. My husband had been watching it alone, then got me out of bed to witness it as well.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

It continually moved from our right and directly above us, in a diagonal seaward and to our left. It then hovered for a while out on the horizon before re tracing its path, back to above us at our right. This was repeated and repeated countless times, then it suddenly moved directly upwards and disappeared. It returned a few minutes later and repeated its previous actions before disappearing for good.

Any additional comments :

We spent the following day researching the area, checking out tourist attractions and hotels that had lazer shows. We also checked Coast Guard reports and ships at sea. There was absolutely nothing at all that would explain what we had seen, and the only conclusion that we could come to was that it was a genuine UFO. The sighting was from the balcony of our holiday chalet, and at one point I was so sure we were being watched from the UFO that I went back inside and hidd behind the curtain and watched it from there.
