What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

it started off as a very bright white light, like a blob. We have a lot of military aircraft in the area so thought it was a plane. But it dimmed to a pale orange ( as if a plane had turned but there were no corresponding flashing lights as on an air craft) It then turned a brilliant red. It had disappeared by the time I went though the village.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

Any additional comments :

I am used to seeing military aircraft both in daylight and at night. I was with my daughter in the car and we discussed this light while it was in the sky. We both thought it was a little strange. Particularly when it became vivid red. I'm not sure if it was UFO but it was certainly not normal to the skies. Thank you for reading this as I thought I was going mad in my dotage. Helen Fuller
