What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

I never thought I would be reporting a UFO but my girlfriend and I were sitting out on our deck and I was talking to her I heard an explosion from a distance and a few minutes later I saw a flash of light out of the corner of my eyes I looked towards that direction in the north west sky and observed a large object that flashed repeatedly 7 to 8 times very bright white flash. I yelled at my girfreind to look and she saw the flashes as well it stoped flashing and the dark object cahnging shape was moving from north to south loosing altidude as it traveled it was floating back and forth and downward at a very slow speed. I was able to capture some of the event on video 8mm digital.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :
