What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

was a reddy colour moving slowly over the sea, there was a pulsating glow about it. it then disapeared into the sea. there was suddenly a freak lightening storm when it entered the sea. therte were at least 50-75 witnesses

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

no it was gliding slowly before descending into sea
