Sighting Details

What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

bright yellow ball, almost like a ball of fire that didn't have smoke or flames coming away as it moved. as it passed through clouds, the colour dimmed but was bright again soon after.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

the trajectory was strange, it shot of into the sky very fast, then slowed extremly, darted about slightly whilst high in the sky, then just seemed to stop in one place for about 5 mins each (there were exactly the same approximately 7 minutes apart.

i am not sure of the exact time of my sighting, though i believe it to have been between half past eleven and half past twelve at night. The objects must have been seen by a huge amount of people, as they flew straight past the new(and huge) Beetham Tower
