Large, silver, round. Red lights, rotating center.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

hovered for a while, did a strange red light thing. Then dissapeared.

The UFO appeared to have taken off from a landing point before we spotted it, strange footprints and a long silver object was left behind when we looked at the sight it landed in.
