What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

triangular with many differnt coloured lights

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

it hoveed over our house for about 5 minutes when it left it soon came back and shined a huge beam of light over the houses then left again
