What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

two dark objects below cloud level moving slowly eastward. Live near Gatwick so see many aircraft at all times of day and night. Looked like parachutes through binoculars but seemed too large for the distance concerned to be microlites etc.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

No, moving in same direction some distance apart. `
