Sighting Details

What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

It's hard to tell how big it was because we couldn't tell how far away from us it was! It was dark but it was extremely brightly coloured and near to the ground, just hovering in the middle of a field! My ex saw a flash in the sky that i didn't see and then i saw this that he didn't see! By the time i'd looked at him and said "look at that" it had just disappeared!

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

It was hovering and then disappeared without a trace, we didn't see it leaving, it just wasn't there!

Any additional comments :

I'm not a big believer in all this, but both me and my ex boyfriend were completely freaked out by what we saw that night! We got back to his flat and tried ringing the MOD, we realised how mad it sounded so gave up when there was no reply. I can't think what else it could've been though as it was out in the sticks in the middle of a field! I'd love to know for sure though!
