Sighting Details

What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

The object was round it was very high it looked like a star with its brilliance,but it definately was not, nor was it a plane reflecting the sun

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

The object appeared stationary

This object caught my eye after looking upwards at a low flying plane it was then I saw it beyond the plane much higher. I looked at it for a short while then called my girlfriend to come and look unfortunately she has bad eysight and was not wearing her contact lenses I told her to bring my binoculars which are usually in the dining room which overlooks the garden. She could not find them so I told her to bring my telescope which she did but I could not set the telescope up without taking my eyes off the object so I sent her upstairs for my other binoculars all the while still looking at this stationary round star like object in the sky. She came back outside to tell me she could not find them so reluctantly I went upstairs and of course when I got back it had gone. After some reflection namely the last five days I think that it was travelling away from me as I recall it seemed to get smaller althogh still as bright if it was moving it would have been in a north westerly direction. I just wish I had got my bins on it but I know I have never seen anything like this before
