Sighting Details

What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

Triangular formation of red/orange objects in the sky.They appeared spherical in shape and seemed to be stationary.Difficult to gauge size and distance but best guess would say approx. 5 miles North of my position, at about 5,000 feet.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

They seemed to be hovering in precise formation.

Any additional comments :

On arrival at my destination a good friend straight away asked if me and my partner had seen strange lights in the sky and her description matched mine almost exactly, except she had seen the lights travelling South. I had been travelling North when I had seen the lights so they would have appeared stationary from my viewpoint.
