What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

It was a very large sphere with a bright light underneath

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

It hovered for a few second above us and then went in a daigonal direction at very high speed but with no noise at all which is when we realised it must have been a UFO

3 or 4 m

It is many years since I saw this and at the time I did phone Luton airport who confirmed that there had been something on the radar screen but they had not official reason why. I am telling you now ecuase I think it is too important not to.
