it was a bubble with a flame at the bottom, an orange bubble, it looked on fire

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

no, it floated past in a straight line then just carried on out of sight untill i couldnt see any more

i saw the same thing on new years day at about 12.50pm but just forgot about it but when i saw it again today i instantly recognised it so did my boyfreind! i never beleived in anything like this but what i saw was not a plane!
