What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

Multiple bright objects, hard to estimate exact size. Brilliant white like an intense star.Probably five or six in number, but again hard to tell because they would shoot off from view and then return.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

yes, both hovering and then zooming off at truly incredible speeds. They seemed to play with each other, flying together almost in formation and then going separate directions

Any additional comments :

I was camping with friends at the time. Up late talking in a tent, we suspected someone was outside with a powerfull camera flash. About every 30 secs the tent was completly illuminated for a split second with bright white light. After plucking up the courage to go out and look i was simply dumbstruck by the cause of this light. Several star like objects in the sky, but much brighter flitting about like giant houseflys. Making 90degree turns at very high speed much,much faster than say, the Red Arrows can. One was fairly near to us but very high and completly still. Then with a huge flash of light it shot straight upwards and diappeared in about one second. After that we watched this air show for a couple of hours until they vanished and never came back. Didnt get any sleep after that! The next evening i met up with a couple of the people who were there to talk about what we think we saw. It was about 8pm and we were sitting on a kids wooden fort in a local school that overlooks Truro. In an instant a massive (Seriously big, like a skyscraper on its side) aircarft shot silently over head. It must of taken a second to get from the horizon to us and then passed us. It was so fast it was a blur but upon getting just passed us, two enormous orange "engines" were visible. (similar to a battle cruiser from starwars!) And that was it. I was actually shaking, struggling to say anything. The three of us stood in disbelief. Before i had quite an interest in warplanes, like F-15's but always thought people who "saw" UFO's were nuts. But i've been obsessed ever since. I know it was a long time ago but the memory is a fresh as when it happened and there are eight other people who can verify this story. One friend was reduced to tears, huddled in a ball on the floor. I know you probably get alot of freaks/dellusionals writing to you but i swear on my life that what i've told you is an accurate represntation of what happened on those two nights. THE TRUTH REALLY IS OUT THERE!
