A small cluster of coloured lights size of a beach ball

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

Made a very violent zig zag motion flying away from us in the dark

Any additional comments :

I was a passenger in a colleagues car going home from a late shift The lights passed in front of us about 50 feet high 150mph It made a violent zig zag and skimmed the tree tops of a wood and out of sight. The next day we found a lone tree in the middle of a field we think the lights just got around.
