Sighting Details

What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

no physical presence other than the sighting of two amber coloured lights static in the air spaced apart with the lower off at an angle. no other flashing lights were seen yet the amber lights appeared to each have its own reflection. no sounds heard.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

the ligths remained at the same distance from each other in aline. initially they were static in the sky but then they moved in an anti clockwise direction full circle to come back to their original positon. I continued with my journey but upon reaching the end of the road approximately 100 meters fro mthe sighting position the lights had gone

Any additional comments :

I am a police officer on route to work. No other vehicles on the road and no street lamps. The lights were the only indication of something in the sky - no other soudns, no other lights or forward or backwards movement. I can see no explanation.
