What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

Just a bright light

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

no,,,was going in a stable direction,,,this was not an aeroplane as i live 1 mile from airport,,and planes have flashing lights , this had one bright light and was moving in a north easterly positio away from me, yet it was bright,,it move relatively slow and went in a straight line,,

i live close to manchester airport , so see planes take off regualry,,this wasn't a plane, there was no noise, the light was as bright as a star yet going away from me it was bright
