Sighting Details

What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

Vaguely conical. About the size of large aircraft (height uncertain). VERY bright orange light. Completely silent.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

Travelled slightly faster than average aircraft on straight path then gained altitude VERY quickly until out of sight within 2- 3 seconds.

Any additional comments :

Followed 2 - 3 minutes later by a second, identical object on a slightly different path arriving at approximately the same point as the first object, where it also ascended vertically at considerable speed.
