What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

an orange ball of light with a small tail, to start off with myself and my brother thought it was a plane on fire. the size was quite large, larger than a passenger jet.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

No It just travelled very slowly with no sound what so ever.
