What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

about the size of a small dog,but not as small as a cat

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

yes it was hovering in mid air, slowely then as i was quiet shocked by it, when walkled away from it hovered back. Ihe closest i got too it was about 30 feet, it was about tree level

it is hard to describe what it was, but it had gremelin like figure, and seemed to have as i can only describe as legs which made it look like it was kinda walking in mid air, as i was walking quickly away from i could here some kind of high pitched noise. i weighed up all the options of what it could of been, but nothing can compare to what this was, im still in shock.
