Sighting Details
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :
Very large bright oval equivalent to two standard sized terraced rooftops. Light was a bright white with no other colour variations.
When we ran up an alleyway which would have brought us directly beneath the object ( 20 second run ) there was no sign of it.

My friend & i were on our local field ( Carson's field in Marton B/pool ) observing the stars whilst sneaking a smoke, we both simultaneously heard a low humming sound, looked at each other, then turned to the source which was a large bright oval shaped object just above the rooftops a hundred yards away. ( Measurement on google earth is 94.28 yds. )it was roughly the size of two standard terraced roofs & moved very slowly, we decided to run up an adjacent alley which would bring us almost directly beneath the object ( a run which took about 20 seconds ) but upon reaching the top it had completely vanished.
