Sighting Details
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :
4 white round lights in a horizontal row, all of similar size and close together so there was only a small gap between them. Very bright, like car headlights at about 20 meters away but about 150 meters up and about 1-2 km away.
the lights appeared stationary, maybe moving a little to the north but disappeared quickly. At first, thinking it was a plane with search lights I continued watching but couldn't see any object in the sky near where it had been. Until a helicopter appeared 3 miles south travelling north.

It wasn't until the lights disappeared that I thought it was strange. It was dusk but the appearance on the helicopter assures me that there still enough light in the sky to see aircraft by more than the lights. If it were a plane, I should have been able to see the craft if it had turned around. the lights remained horizontal so it didn't bank to diagonal. The lights were too bright at that distance to be a plane (i live next to an airport). There were no engine sounds. There was cloud cover but quite high up. This sighting was from a cliff top over looking Cromer.
