What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :
minimum of two objects,both of the bright silver 'sphere' variety, size or distance from camera indeterminable,but clearly a physical metallic craft of some type,and judging by its movements,seems to me to be obviously under some type of intelligent control,which is then joined by,at least one other obviously similar object or craft,possibly more as you will see for yourself from the video itself,if you can find the time to look into this in your busy lives!
the first object in question appears on the lower righthand side of the screen,then suddenly decellerates and comes to a complete stop,then almost immediately is joined on the opposite left hand side of the screen,at about the nine o'clock position,just as the first comes to a total stop at about the four o'clock position on the screen,by a similar,just as obviously real physical craft,but seemingly further away,though still totally visible,then,well i will leave it to yourselves,the experts to determine if there are any more of these craft on the actual video,as you will no doubt have access to better video equiptment than i.

before we begin id like to take the opportunity to apologise now if this turns out not to be classable as a bona fide 'classic sighting experience'but i do believe that i am the first person ever to report this particular incident,which involves a nasa spacecraft,to a civilian agency of this or any other type,after having extensively searched the web for almost three weeks now,and finding no trace or mention of this incident having been declared or announced to the public by nasa,that is why i have taken it upon myself to try to report this incident,which as you will see from the aforementioned video released by nasa or jpl,not sure exactly who was responsible for its release to the public,but whether by accident or design by a 'whistleblower',this clip has now found its way into the public domain,but strangely there is absolutely no trace of this video capture of a ufo in the 1960s by the way!,by a nasa spacecraft as it approached the planet mars.i have described the incident above so i will leave it to your good selves to determine whether or not this is a genuine ufo captured on video by nasa,but never declared by them,and if this is truly the case,the this might be the very first ever or one of the earliest videoing of a ufo by nasa,and also may be classable as the first video of a ufo related to or near the planet mars,but then again if this turns out not to be a genuine video,and i presume you people will have the ways and means to do just that,and i have wasted your time,again i apologise sincerely.yours cordially,ed.P.S.the video in question is called,'JPL VIKING ANNIVERSARY VIDEO'AND IS ONLY A SIX MINUTE PLUS VIDEO,AND THE CLIP CONTAINING THE UFOS IS IN THE OPENING SEQUENCE,AGAINST THE BACKGROUND IMAGE OF THE DISC OF MARS ON THE SPACECRAFTS APPROACH,WHEN THE OBJECT(1ST)COMES INTO VIEW AT COUNTER NUMBER 00:08-00:09SECONDS.IT IS A VERY SHORT SECOND LONG CLIP THAT HAS THE ACTUAL CRAFT IN VIEW BEFORE IT CUTS AWAY TO ANOTHER SCENE.
