What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

six seperate orange lights, in formation, diamond pattern. No noise, estimate 1-2ooo feet. Faint pulse from each light. Two groups of three, 1 following the other.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

They moved slowly, west to east, hovered, almost overhead, then moved north east, then moved very quickly and vanished within seconds

Any additional comments :

my wife, and I witnessed the event. She initially stated a helicopter, however, we went outside and total silence, despite them being almost overhead. I called Glasgow Air Traffic, they had no contacts on radar. I am a pilot, and can recognise aircraft etc when I see them. These were not aircraft
