Sighting Details

What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

deep amber/orange light with one single glow in circular form

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

it hovered for aprox 5 minutes and then moved across the sky to the right where it stayed for aprox another 5 minutes before slowly dimming down and then dissapearing and was silent. Also the light emmitted slowly became stronger and dimmer throughout.

Any additional comments :

i had thoughts that it may of been a government aircraft, however i found the movements and characteristics of the object strange for anything i was aware of. After the sighting there were fighter jets seemingly patrolling the area from the early hours of the morning till 24 hours after the sighting. This is unusal for the area and unusal that they would send government planes for test flights in close proximity of an airport.
