Sighting Details

1 What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :
Red/Orange in colour, round but with jagged edges.

2Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

Travelled overhead very slowly and out across the Channel at Dymchurch. my wife and I, parked up and watched it with 6-8 other people. It then seemed to become stationary, as I was plotting it's movement against stars in the sky. There was no change in the distance between stars in front and to the side. The size of the object was about 1-2 Thumbnails. It was a starry night with small patches of cloud. The object was below cloud level. Within 20-30 seconds of it becoming stationery, the light faded to a point and then dissapeared. The was absolutely no audible sound. Although the other people watching were rather merry, we had not taken a drink all night.

3How long did you see the UFO for :

00:05:00 -hh:mm:ss

Any additional comments :

Talking to other people at work, a lady and her sister were enjoying a barbecue in Dymchurch and they descibed seeing it at 2130 approx. They said one single light came over their roof top, similar to what I descibed. This was followed a short time later with what appeared to be a single source, which then split into three to form a triangle and following that, about six of them in a straight line. They described the observation as being very similar to what we had witnessed. I believe they have taken a photo and video. The photo has come out as a white dot, not sure about the video yet.
