What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :
There were seven of them and they were completely round spheres of light. They seemed to be lit from within but when I first saw them, they looked like huge headlights.
They were in a long line at first but then two separated from the rest and flew higher in the sky. The other five then did the same thing. They hovered together for a while and then, like the first two, ascended rapidly and disappeared from sight.

I was with my husband and it was lashing down with rain. At first I thought the light was a plane coming into land, but when the other six came into view I realised this wasnt the case. We stopped the car and stood getting soaked in the rain - we were completely mesmerised by these golden globes and still find it difficult to understand what they were. There was no sound at all, but it seemed to get extremely silent and still while the orbs were visible. It was absolutely incredible and have been looking on the internet ever since trying to find someone else in my area who might have seen them.
