What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :
There were 3 red, glowing, very illuminescent round balls of light that were traveling in a single file, almost as if they were connected or attached by something. They seemed to be in size sequence, from large, medium to small.
It came in real close out of nowhere in a slow "S" type pattern and as soon as we noticed it, it turned away and disappeared into thin air. It did'nt make a sound or seem to accelerate off, it just flat vanished. The person with me saw the same exact thing.

Any additional comments :
I was camping on a sandbar in between two barrier islands. It was crystal clear that night with no clouds and no other obstructions. I was on the National UFO website just before I came to this site and there was a recent crop circle in Washington state that looked like what this object would have left as an imprint if it were to land in a crop field.
