What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :
Dumfries, South-West Scotland. Initially spotted out of my son's bedroom window - a bright orange glow in the North-West, as bright as an aircraft landing light seen head on. As it travelled over my house, (towards the East), it faded to a dull orange. When I tried to look at it thru my binoculars I was unable to get it into focus.

It was a clear night, and a number of conventional aircraft were also in the sky, so we could see it was not the same.
