Sighting Details
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :
A very bright oval shape, the colour was a bright white colour. The sky was dark, being night time in the UK, so it appeared very distinct.
It was moving very fast. I saw an aircraft ( an airliner, Jumbo etc ) flying northwest at high altitude. This other object appeared to approach from the south, crossing ( below? ) the path of the plane. It then moved very fast, and seemed to disappear out of sight over a house in the village, heading downwards, and then disappeared.

I have never seen anything like this before. I was with three other people, and we all saw it. I have seen shooting stars before, and it was nothing like that. It appeared far bigger, and certainly much brighter.
