Round with pinkish orange pulsing light

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

Yes approached from north west stoped and hovered for a few seconds and then moved off in a northerly direction gathering speed then vanashed suddenly

Any additional comments :

This is the second time I have seen this, the last time was about six weeks ago when it appoached from a similar direction but on that occasion moved off in an easterly direction gathering speed quickly. On both occasions no noise whatsoever was heard and on both occasions the sky was completely clear with all stars visible.
