Sighting Details

1 What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :
Approximately 20 orange spheres, all the same size, roughly 1/8th the size of the moon (as viewed from the ground). I'd say they were about 500 feet from the ground

2Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

They were drifting slowly, below cloud level, heading northeast, roughly toward Manchester. They were in an extended haphazard line almost zig-zag, apart from the first 6 which appeared to be in the shape of The Plough. I'd guess the entire length of the line was about 400 - 500 yards.

3How long did you see the UFO for :

0:06:00 -hh:mm:ss

Any additional comments :

I was driving to Lymm from Knutsford and had just crossed the A556 at Bucklow Hill, heading toward High Legh. The first I saw of the lights was what I thought to be the stars that make up The Plough. It was only as I travelled further that I realised they were getting bigger and had a distinct orange colour (though they weren't bright), I also noticed more lights in an approximate zigzag stretching out to the left. There are a row of electricity pylons that bisect this road so I assumed that lights had been placed on the cables to warn aircraft as Manchester airport isn't far away. As I got nearer to the pylons I realised the lights were higher and further behind the cables. I stopped my car, turned the engine off and half got out. There was no sound and the line of lights was moving slowly and steadily. It was at this point that my nerves took over and I got back in my car and drove away, as I did so they gained altitude and faded into the cloud. I kept glancing in the direction I last saw them but didn't see them again.
