Sighting Details

What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

it was very bright red and was the shape of a cigar and it had a red light like a jumping afect going around it in a Circle Shape Pattern as you looked straight up at it.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

it just looked like it was floating across the sky like a balloon would in the air & i couldn't here any sounds what so ever from it.

Any additional comments :

i was going home from a freinds as i had to be back home for 9.00pm i only stood and looked at it for about a minute then ran home to tell my parants what i had saw. but when i got home to get my dad to take a look it had gone. the ufo looked to be about a mile or so up in the sky.
