Sighting Details

What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

five bright orange lights high up in the clear night sky, moving from approximately south to north, viewed from the east, over kidderminster/bewdley area, worcestershire, england. the moon and stars are visible, the lights appeared to disappear as it passed a fixed star. we viewed them through binoculars, and the lights did not appear to be flashing, no navigation lights or strobes visible.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

they maintained constant speed, the lights appeared to diminish at approximately the same place, much like a satellite, though they were in formation, which suggested they were not satellites. the first sighting was a wave of three, followed by another two very shortly after. the second two appeared just after the first three disappeared, and from the same place.
