Sighting Details
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :
10 round orange lights traveling in a westerly direction 4 times bigger than a bright star, the 1st 8 seem to be traveling in formation at the same speed and distance these were in view for about 30 seconds followed by another 2 remaining at the same speed and distance apart from each other, they were in view for approx 1 minute then also disapeared. cloud level was low the moon and stars were not visible it seemed the orange lights appeared to vanish and the same place indicating they entered into a cloud i was observing outside and heard no noise, the police helicopter flies over my house frequently to and from its base into and out of ipswich which has a distinct sound this ruled out in my mind it was helicopters and the lights were to slow for aeroplanes. these were flying horizontal so ruled out flares. on sighting the 1st lights with my wife i made a mobile phone call to my dad who lives approx 1/2 mile from my house, on answering my call he proceeded to an upstairs window where he had a visible sighting of the last 2 lights and saw them vanish at exactly the same time as myself and my wife,he also could not explain what they were.curiosity has got to me on what i witnessed which led me to look on the internet and bring me to this sight,if any one witnessed these lights or know what they were please write a blog on this website. thankyou
they kept in formation at a constant speed and were a constant orange light
