What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :
There were five of them in all. They were a burnished dull orange, two of which flared up into a brilliant silver which lit up the clouds.
Not really. But they moved faster than anything I've ever seen. They appeared from the same point in space and shot off heading north above Teggs Nose in Macclesfield, though they were very high up - somewhere in the stratosphere I'd say, possibly on the edge of space. Each one was followed a few minutes later by another. At one point two emerged and appeared to be chasing each other. They were not satellites, and there were too many of them to be Nasa rockets/space shuttles.

The point they appeared from was in the vicinity of the middle star in the "handle" of the Plough. Though that was probably just from the perspective I was viewing them from. I'm a skeptic but not stupid enough to disbelieve my own eyes. Perhaps this was the point they dropped out of "warp drive" because I couldn't see a darker object that might have been the mother ship. Anyone else seen this? It went on for long enough, someone must have.
