Sighting Details
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :
a very large saucer shape above our house. the circumferance was about the size of a large victorian house. at first we thought it was swirling clouds and then we realised it was a solid form and the swirls were individual rows of lights that as the object spun around they joined up to create a swirling silver glow.
it remained stationary in one spot for 10 minutes but continued to spin around at a steady space creating the trailing effect of the lights. then it rose higher and higher up into the sky until we could no longer see it.

Any additional comments :
there was no sound but before i had been looking out of the window there had been a very weird tension in the room and that was why i was looking out of the window. after it had gone the atmosphere returned to normal.
