Sighting Details

1 What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :
UfO was black completely. Bigger than my fist when held out. But quite small compared to other objects around, like trees. There was no colour from the object as it was completely black. The only colour that we noticed seemed to be coming from the edges of this object, the sunrays were hitting the edges [the sun was behind us] and the edges were gleaming so bright.

2Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

Craft moved in slow motion. It moved like a coin would when flipped in the air. It is tossing over and over on itself. Also, with the day being very sunny and hot, everytime the ufo flipped over, the edges of the craft gleamed the brightest brass or gold colour I have ever seen. It moved high over our heads, and we eventually lost it in the glare of the sun.

3How long did you see the UFO for :

10 min -hh:mm:ss

Any additional comments :

My son, who is now 20, has seen this same object twice since 1997. On both occassions, the thing was flipping over and over, and the edges were gleaming a brass/gold colour, very bright. Again, the rest of the object was black in colour. Also, it moved very very silently, no sound at all. The shape of the craft was disc-shaped, but shaped more like a coin. Never seen anything remotely like it in my life. Also noticed that the sound had gone, like everything had been turned down. The birds stopped singing, and I couldn't hear the traffic. This was during the sighting. When the craft disappeared from view, everything went back to normal.
