5 or 6 bright red lights

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

they appeared to move in a pattern eventualy fading to only 2 then slowly disapearing

I am very skeptical about the whole ufo thing in general a footnote to this incident is that a group of partygoers near stirlihg in scotland attached candles to some balloons and let them go the lights that i saw could have been 5 or 6 helicopters flying in formation but there was no sound a belive there is a rational explanation but it was still rather strange.
