Sighting Details
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :
small round tube may have been looking at it side on as i seemed disc shaped at one point. no visible lights, looked as if it was made of metal like aluminum but sometimes it lost its shine and looked dull very dark grey. it looked like it was just over half the size of a boeing 737. when viewed through my binoculars it was almost always out of focus, when i focused on it it was featureless, no lights, just a dull grey tube that seemed metalic at times
ufo became visible everytime a jet departed from london city airport, during the times the planes were still quite low to the ground, the ufo trailed behind these planes but at a slightly higher altitude, at a time it seemed like it was a few just metres above a plane, then the ufo would vanish only to reapper at the next jet departing.

i examined the ufo from a balcony with binoculars, whilst i was looking at jets departing from the airport (london city airport was not visible but i could see that these jets were departing from there as they frequently do) as the third jet passed i noticed the ufo, when the jet reached a certain altitude the ufo seemed to lose interest, & vanish, but re appear behind the next jet about 10 min later. this continued for about an hour, on one time it a appeared dangerously close to a boeing737,
