Sighting Details
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :
like a very bright star...much brighter than Venus..bluish tint
blinked on and off...moved in a very non-linear manner over perhaps a 5 degree cone...then disappeared..I searched the sky with binoculars afterward and saw nothing....the elevation angle was about 80 degrees from Elmira and azimuth about 165 degrees (SSE) from Elmira Oregon. If it was reflecting sunlight it would have had to be very high....orbital height at this time of evening...if it was that high it would be moving very fast and in a zig-zag motion...much faster than LEO speed....but back and forth!!!

I was walking back from my garden to the house and saw this (whatever it was)....I've NEVER seen a UFO before and I have a degree in Physics and have done alot of star-gazing...the non-linear movement rules out any aircraft or balloon that I can imagine, it was NOT a meteor....this was very weird, perhaps some sort of military vehicle?? the movement was very fast, hap-hazard and non-linear..I can't explain it..maybe there is some rational explanation?
