What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :
I saw five (what looked like) fireballs: they were disc shaped and had a very bright centre glowing like fire, they also appeared to be semi-translucent - flying over my house in Pendeen, Cornwall. The first one moved slowly (slower than a helicopter I believe) towards our house. I went outside and saw it gain height and speed and head east towards Penzance. It then seemed to hover in one place, then a second and third objects appeared with just seconds between them from the same direction and they both repeated the flight path of the first one exactly. All three lights then appeared to merge to form a much larger and even brighter light and this larger object continued to hover, there was absolutely no sound. The fourth came roughly 2 minutes later and also joined the larger light. At this point I went to knock on the door of a friend and neighbour and got her to come outside and see what was happening. The hovering light had disappeared when we went back out but we waited for 5 minutes and the fifth and final light came from the same direction, and followed the same path as the others. It's difficult for me to gauge just how large they were or how high but they appeared to be quite low - possibly 800 ft at the lowest point, they were very clearly visible and I imagine many other must have seen them also. Have you heard from anyone else regarding this particular sighting? I'm happy for my email address to be posted on the site so that others who saw the same thing can contact me directly.
