Sighting Details
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :
There were approximately 12 red/orange glowing lights (not really bright, but bright enough to be clear) which looked as though they were quite a distance out to sea. They seemed to be globe shaped and were rising from, presumably, sea level. Size was difficult to ascertain as they were out to sea and there was nothing to compare them to, but to the naked eye, they were just dots in the sky.
They rose, stopped oddly enough always in a line of three but one at a time as the nest caught up and in the same place, rose again then disappeared into the distance, all following approximately the same path. Their movement was quite slow. At first I thought they were flairs and was going to call the Coastguard, but flairs do not slow down, stop and then restart. There was no apparent noise.

The sky was partly overcast with a light drizzle. I am not suggesting that these were alien - I have serious doubts as to that sort of thing, but they were unidentifiable, so it would be nice to know exactly what they were. They were also witnessed by a group of young asian men who work in the takeaway at the top of the road, and they couldn't come up with a sensible explanation either! There are no lights in the local vacinity that could have reflected images onto low cloud as it was out to sea and the cloud itself was breaking up at that point, though there were no stars in the sky. I took a couple of pictures on my mobile 'phone but they did not show the images. There was no type of interference to the TV/satellite.
