Sighting Details

What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

at first we thought it was just a low flying helicopter, nothing odd about that, but then as were starting leaving it behind we noticed it was just hovering, hellicopters dont hover so we looked at it in closer inspection. it was long and thin and almost looked like it had a pod on top of it, the pod was very bright and the long flat bit on the bottom was a silver / grey coulour

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

it just hovered and when we went past and work out what it was, when we had looked up again it was very high in the sky along with the satrs, u could tell where it was though because it was 10 times bigger than normal starts.also when it was up in the sky it had flashing lights on the flat bits on it but they were clear not couloured.
