Sighting Details

What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

The UFO was mostly stationary as it hung on the western sky. It was observed from quite some distance, so I cannot accurately give a size. However, it was blinking white, red and blue in no particular order; the flashing seemed random.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

It was hovering and seemed to move side to side but this was very hard to distinguish. After watching it hover and blink for approximately an hour, it just disappeared.

Any additional comments :

This was in a very remote are of Virginia/West Virginia. We observed it from Mt. Lake Rd in Virginia but it seemed to be in the direction of West Virginia.
