Sighting Details

What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

2 Large orange extremely bright lights spotted by myself and my partner traveling north over carlisle,cumbria,uk at 18:20pm this evening Dec 2nd 2009,approx 30ft in diameter and roughly 3000m high.Wind calm,skies clear apart from a few broken clouds.The lights did not have any recognisable features. i.e landing lights,navigation lights etc.They were approx 5 minutes apart from each other.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

From appearing on the horizon and dissapearing which took around 5 minutes each,they seemed to move at a speed greater that the usual passenger carriers and light aircraft.They did seem to weave a little as they moved north.
