UFO Watch is a collection of UFO sighting and abduction reports sent in by members of the public. There are 5,573 sighting reports and 208 abduction accounts on file.
BHow reports are published
Anyone can send in a report using the report form. Each one is checked for spam, then published exactly as it was written. Nothing is corrected, which is why you’ll see the odd spelling mistake. UFO Watch doesn’t judge whether a report is true.
Email addresses are never shown, and surnames are partly blacked out. If you sent in a report and want it changed or taken down, contact us.
CWho runs it
Adam Finzel started UFO Watch on GeoCities in May 1997, while he was at college, and still runs it. It moved to its own domain, ufowatch.com, in October 1998. The site diary covers those first two years.

The History
I was sitting at home bored (once again) thinking about what I could possibly do with the computer. Because I am one of these sad people that lock themselves away with a PC. I am what they call a 100% 500% computer geek. I spend my life on the PC I am even doing a course on computers so that just shows. Anyway back to my story.....errrm... where was I... Aha yes the part about me being bored. Okay A strange idea flew into my head and said Adam write a web page. So I did and here it is courtesy of the free web page offer of Geocities. The page is about surprisingly enough, UFO's. My friend Philip is a real UFOologist or whatever they call em. He had been writing a newsletter for some time before stopping it cause no one responded with new Information. So armed with his experience and a five year contract saying he will write me a newsletter once a month I went about designing UFO Watch.
What Is the point?
Well I keep getting told that people are being abducted every day and that UFO's are constantly visiting our planet, so I really wanted to find out peoples experiences. I know that people want to tell there stories because every time Talk Radio UK (My fav radio station ) have a discussion there are loads of callers. And here it is UFO Watch, I hope that you agree with me that we need to know if there are UFO's or not.
Have I seen a UFO?
Nope I haven't seen one for real but I have seen some on TV. Philip recorded what we thought was a UFO but we can not be certain his video clip showed it for about 10 sec's and then it was gone.
What about the sad people who will make up the sightings?
Well I can not guarantee that they will not do this so all I can say is don't. To those people, This site has been made to find out about them and I would really like to read the experiences people have had with UFO's so please please please do not make them up.
Do I like stardom?
Okay its time for some grovelling and I doubt that this will ever be appropriate but nether the less if you work for a magazine or for TV and decide to show even a glimpse of our site then please notify me so I can tell my friend who reckons he can make better sites than me, where to stick it as I play the video to him.
