it was diamond shaped. green, white lights on bottom of diamond. grayish black.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:

it swirled and then zoomed straight into the ocean.

Any additional comments:

the water glowed for about 30 minutes. then ufo possibly died alien probably had already drowned
