It was oval shaped and it was tilted at an angle. I saw white lights on its underneath side.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:

No it appeared in the sky and travelled at speed but I clearly saw it. It was all over in seconds.

I just wondered if anyone in my town had seen it too.
