CSIGHTING DETAILS

What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
I climbed the stairs and looked out of the landing window. The sky was blue with large formed clouds. Right above the houses, extending from one of the clouds was an object which (I really wish I could draw it) was diamond-shaped in profile (assuming that the hidden part of the shape matched the visible part). The top and bottom was flattened as was the horizontal point. The vertical 'sides' (assuming symmetry to the other side that I could not see) were flat. The surfaces were overall gold, with large integral 'disks' on all visible sides of various gold shades-white, yellow, some almost burnished. The whole affair was almost shimmering with colour intensity. Regarding size-if the cloud (?nimbus-the big, formed fluffy type) was bigger than the three houses it was over then the object was 'big'.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
When I first saw the object it was stationary (spelling?) and must have been so for, perhaps, no more than five seconds. Then it literally moved into the cloud and I could no longer see it. I waited and watched. The clouds only moved slowly because there wasn't much wind. Then nothing. I scanned the sky furiously but nothing more could be seen. I couldn't call anyone and, I can't describe the 'feeling' I had. Looking back the whole affair just 'feels' ?wierd...and I can't get it out of my head. You probably think I'm mad?!

Any additional comments:
I've tried to explain to the more open-minded of my friends about my experience but no-one, and I do mean no-one seems remotely interested. I only came across your site because as a long shot with no expectation of finding such an opportunity I typed 'report UFO sighting' in Google. I really wish that I had logged the time and date but the event shook me and still does. The 'strangeness' about the event is inside me. I had dreadful dreams in the following weeks-And another wierd thing- since the event, but whether it's related or not I don't know, I've developed an absolutely mordid fear of spiders-literally panic attacks. I think people think I'm crazy. When I talk about what I call my 'spiritual' experiences I get the same response. Sorry for going on so much. Shaun.
